پيسو لڏم پٽ تان

Paiso  Ladhum Pata Taa

पैसो लधुम पट तां

Line 1: , پيسيورتُمگاھُ , پيسولڏم پٽتان

Paisoladhumpatataa, paisewartumgaahu,

पैसोलधुमपटतां, पैसेवरतमगाहु,

I found a coin on the ground; bought grass with the coin,

Line 2:,گانء ڏنوکيرُ, گاھُڏنُمگانءکي

Gaahudinumgaayenkhe, gaayendinokheeru,

गाहुडिनुमगांयखे,  गांयडिनोखीर,

The grass I gave to a cow; the cow gave milk,

Line 3:, اماڏنولولو, کيرُڏنُماماکي

Kheerudinumammakhe, ammadinololo,

खीरडिनुमअम्माखे,  अम्माडिनोलोलो,

The milk I gave to my mother; my mother gave me Lolo (to eat).

Line 4:,ڪانوڏنوکنڀُ, لولوڏنُمڪانءُکي

Lolo dinumkaanwakhe, kaanwadinokhambhu,

लोलोडिनुमकांवखे, कांवडिनोखंभ,

I gave the lolo to a crow; the crow gave a feather,

Line 5:کنڀُڏنُم راجا کي, راجا ڏنو گھوڙو,

Khambhudinum raja khe, raja dinoghodo,

खंभडिनुमराजाखे, राजाडिनोघोड़ो,

I gave the feather to a King; The king gave me a horse.

Line 6:چڙھي گھُم ,چڙھي گھُم  ,چندن پٽاخو

Chadhighum, chadhighum, Chandanpatako,

चढ़ीघुम, चढ़ीघुम, चंदनपटाखो,

Ride the horse and move around.

Line 7:جيئي مُھنجو ڪاڪو

Jeeyemuhinjokako.

जीयेमुहिंजोकाको I

Long live my Uncle.

Line 8:ڪاڪو ويٺو ماڙي تي, ڏيمڀو ويٺوڏاڙھي تي,

Kakowethomaadi’ate, dembhuvethasdarhee’ate,

काकोवेठोमाड़ीयते, डेमबोवेठसडाढ़ीयते,

My uncle sat on the floor; a wasp sat on his beard.

Line 9:ڀاڀي ويٺيڪوٺيء تي , گُل ھڻاس چوٽي تي,

Bhabivethikothiy the, gulharanschotiye the,

भाभीवेठीकोठीयते, गुलहंडासचोटीयते,

Bhabi sat on the couch; let me put a flower on her hair.

Line 10:.اما ويٺي مُڙي تي,  گُل ھڻاس چوڙي تي

Ammavethimure the, gulharanschuriy the!

अम्मावेठीमूढे़ते, गुलहंडासचुडेतेI

My mother sat on a stool, let me put the flower on her bangle.

چڙھي گھُمChadhighum = take a ride

جيئي Jeeye = long live

ڪاڪوKako = Uncle (father’s brother)

ماڙيMaadi’eMaadi is a protrusion on land.

ڏيمڀوDembhu = Bee

ويٺوVethas = sat

ڏاڙھيDarhee = beard

گُلGul = Flower

ڀاڀيBhabi = Brother’s wife

ڪوٺيءKothiy = house

چوٽيChotiye = Plait

مُڙيMure = Stool made of jute and bamboo.

چوڙيChuriy = Bangles
